WebNov 14, 2024 · I have a problem i have not been able to solve, when backup starts (Veritas Netbackup) the McAfee On-Access Scanner Service use very high cpu. I have made exclusion for the backup process (bpbkar32.exe) but Virusscan On-Access scans the files that are being backed up. I've ran profilerbut it only displays what i already know. It can be observed in the ...\netbackup\bpcd log that bpcd.exe is indeed attempting to fork the bpbkar32.exe process, however, the process immediately results in an application fault without even producing any bpbkar log content.
